Devlog 01: Hello everybody!
Hi, I’m Hirakawa, the developer of Project: Heart.
Hope you are having a good day so far :)
Since this is my first Devlog, I will try to explain a few things.
(Character: Reina von Sternenfels)
Project: Heart is an JRPG game with Visual Novel elements.
You explore the world from a third-person view, while for the conversations it switches to a visual novel-like view. Your actions and decisions will also affect the outcome of the game, so depending on your choices you get a different ending.
The game takes place in modern Japan and an other world.
This other world consists of two different kingdoms, Erestia and Runia.

History of Erestia and Runia
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called Erestia.
This kingdom was brimming over with beauty and diversity, and it was a rich and fertile land.
The king of Erestia was a good-hearted person, so the people lived together in peace and harmony.
One day, the king passed away, and a wicked man ascended the throne.
Full of greed and drunk on his own power, the man let the kingdom fall into chaos.
Wracked by dreadful disasters and plagued by dark beasts, this once-beautiful country plunged into ruin.
Many of the people fled and began to live deep below the earth, and slowly began to rebuild their towns underground.
A second kingdom arose there, known as Runia.
Ever since that time, there have been countless wars fought to retake the old kingdom.
But the people have never been able to reclaim the land.
Even now, every child of Runia is told this tale of why they must never go near the old kingdom.
Kazuki is a college student in his first year. He know his way around and likes to help out people in need.
Reina von Sternenfels
Raina is a courageous and honest girl.
As the princess of Runia she takes care of the worry and hardships of her people. Even though she doesn’t look like it, she is a skilled magician, and also knows how to wield a sword.
(more characters will follow)
There is still a lot of other things I haven’t mentioned yet, but that’s it for now.
I hope it wasn’t too much to read, also congratulations that you made it this far! :D
If you have any questions or something doesn’t make sense to you, don’t hesitate to ask.
I will try my best to make a weekly Devlog, so don’t forget to smash that follow button to keep up with the progress of the game.
See you soon.
